Mutual Aid On The Road To Abolition

Mutual Aid on the Road to Abolition - Dean Spade with Abolitionist Futures Wednesday 09 March 7pm-9:30pm

Abolitionist Futures are delighted to be part of this event with Dean Spade, discussing mutual aid on the road to abolition. Join the online event on March 9th as part of 4 days of workshops, discussions and artists presentations, exploring the radical act of caring for each other while working to change the world.

Dean will be in discussion with Lamble and Hajera from Abolitionist Futures. As long-standing community organisers, Dean, Lamble and Hajera will bring to the conversation a range of experiences and perspectives on abolitionist strategy and mutual aid work. Expect the conversation to be lively and engaging!

Last year, Abolitionist Futures ran our first Bookclub, where we read Mutual Aid: Building Solidarity During This Crisis (and the next) by Dean Spade which provoked some really great discussions and reflections from participants - so we especially hope you’ll tune in if you joined us last year.

Visit Arika for more details of the other workshops and events in this series on Mutual Aid.
